We’ve always wanted something different for the families who come to Lightshed.
Our Santa Sessions are designed around one-on-one time with Santa. Instead of simply posing for a photograph, children get a chance to interact with him.
They can tell Santa what’s on their Christmas list. Ask the questions they’ve been thinking about all year. Explore his workshop. Laugh together. Climb aboard his sleigh. And sometimes just sit beside him and take it all in.
Some children walk through the door ready to tell Santa everything.
Others hang onto Mom or Dad for a few minutes while they decide what they think about the gentleman in the red suit.
That’s okay, too.
We give those moments room to happen.
And somewhere between the conversations, laughter and Christmas wishes are the genuine expressions we love to photograph most.

There are only so many years when children experience Christmas with complete wonder.
That’s something you don’t always realize while you’re in it.

Welcome to Santa’s world.
Our Santa’s Workshop is filled with real wooden toys and beautiful Christmas details designed to invite children to explore.
Rather than simply sitting beside Santa, they can play, investigate the toys and spend time with him in his workshop.
It’s exactly the kind of environment where those little unscripted moments happen naturally.
